Shoe Boxes for the Mixteca Children

We are preparing shoe boxes for the Mixteca Children and we thought you would like to help.

The Mixteco Christian Fellowship is a mission dedicated to bringing the Lord to the Mixteca Families. These families suffer hardships that most of us can not comprehend but they are finding the joy of Jesus.

We will be collecting items till November 30th.
Items can be placed under the Christmas tree down stairs or given to Kim Brown or Tina Weisenburger. Please see the list on the back of this sheet for ideas on items we need.
What the Mixteca Children Need

• Any school supplies~ Pencils, folders, pencil sharpeners (prized possession), paper (lined and unlined), colored pencils
• The children LOVE books, sometimes Wal-Mart carries books in Spanish.

• They also LOVE breakfast cereal. I have bought big bags and then used little snack size Ziplock bags to distribute the cereal.

• The kids also love new socks and underwear. They get lots of used clothing but NEW underwear is wonderful.

• Gloves and beanies are also needed.

• If you would like to make a monetary donation, please write Mixteca Children on the envelope and put your money in the Agape box.

These children are just like our children- it’s only geography that separates us. We are all God’s children, which makes us brothers and sisters.
